A house, the doctors and the mall

So this is some of what happened on Wednesday. the real estate agent wanted to show our house a couple of hours this morning. We, the children at home due to our mother having to attend to our grandmother, had to get out of the house. The problem being that we had no car. Thinking out our strategy and with our oldest sister having extensive experience with getting somewhere without a car we headed out of the house on foot. To the mall, was our cry! It just so happens that it was a school day and the truancy officers are out in full force. Our merry group was stopped twice before we even got to the mall. The first officer was nice enough and seemed quite understanding about our predicament. The second officer continued to question us and we were well prepared for her line or questioning. No tripping us with tricky questions, even if she changed pitch when she asked her questions. We continued on to the mall and called our mom upon our arrival. We were famished from our trek and having to undergo unreasonable questioning. Made arrangements for transportation back from the mall, didn’t want to experience the officers again. Well, that was one day I won't forget, especially since my shoulders our sore. Peace out.

I like that you wrote about Wednesday. I would have loved to read about how the officers approached you or how you felt when you were stopped. Those details make for a great story. Keep writing.
